Pen and Ink Illustration

Allyn took a scientific illustration class in 2010.  A couple of friends encouraged her to keep drawing, but she didn't pick it back up until challenging times in 2019.  Pen and ink is a form of meditation for her, as well as allowing her to combine several hobbies into one.  

Although she has worked with computer programs, Allyn's favorite technique is sketching with a pencil and illustrating with pen and ink.  

Allyn has not been creating new pieces as fast as in 2019 and 2020, but her subject material and reference photo collection has grown exponentially.
